Support
Most problems on SSCVeers have a short answer, so this page starts with those. If none of them fits, the contact details are at the bottom.
Payments and Pro
I paid, but my account still says Free
This is expected for a while. Payment on SSCVeers is a UPI transfer that a person then checks by hand — nothing is automatic. Your Pro access begins when that check passes, not at the moment the money leaves your account. Reviews happen usually within a few hours.
Open the payment screen to see the status of what you submitted. If it still says “Awaiting review” well beyond that window, write in and quote your UPI reference number.
My submission was rejected
The screen shows the reason the reviewer gave. Usually it is a reference that does not match any received payment, or a screenshot that cannot be read. You can correct it and submit again — there is a limit of three submissions per account per day, which is there to stop accidental loops rather than to punish you.
A rejection does not by itself send money back, because the transfer went directly to a UPI account and not through a card processor. The refund policy covers what happens next.
Will it charge me again next month?
No. Nothing recurs. SSCVeers never receives or stores your card or bank details, so it has no way to take money again. When a Pro period ends, access simply returns to Free until you choose to pay again.
Limits
I have run out of AI tutor messages
Free accounts get 15 per day; Pro raises that to 100 per day. Mock tests are 2 per month on Free and 60 per month on Pro. PDF note generation is 2 per month on Free and 50 per month on Pro. Your live figures are on the plans screen.
One detail worth knowing, because it surprises people: the daily counter turns over at midnight UTC, which is 5:30 in the morning Indian time — not at midnight where you are. So if you run out late at night, the reset comes a few hours after you would expect. Monthly counters change with the calendar month on the same clock.
Signing in
I forgot my password
Use the reset page. It emails you a 6-digit code, and you set the new password on the same screen after entering it. There is no link to click, so it works even if your mail client strips links.
The code never arrived
Check spam first. Note that the first step does not tell you whether an address has an account — that is on purpose, so nobody can use the form to discover who is registered. If you are unsure which address you signed up with, write in from the address you think it was.
I was signed out in the middle of something
Sessions expire. When that happens you are taken back to sign-in with an explanation, and after signing in you are returned to the page you were on. Work that had already been saved is not affected.
Using the app
My file upload was refused
Uploads accept a PDF or a plain-text file, up to 10 MB. Word documents, images and scans are not accepted. A PDF that is really a photograph of pages will upload but produce little or nothing, because the text is extracted from the file rather than read from the picture.
The tutor gave me a wrong answer
It can. The tutor, the quizzes, the previous-year questions and the generated notes are all produced by an AI model with no expert checking them first. The disclaimer explains how far to trust each one. Please do report a bad answer — it is useful, even though there is no in-app button for it yet.
Is my name visible to other students?
The name on your account is what appears on the leaderboard, alongside your XP and activity totals. Nothing else about you is shown there — not your email, not your scores on individual tests.
I want to change my name
The name field in Settings is read-only at the moment, so this needs a message. Say what it should be changed to and it will be updated for you.
Your data
Getting a copy of it
Settings has a Data section that downloads everything SSCVeers stores about you as a single JSON file — your profile, chat history, attempts, uploads, usage counters and payment records. It does not include your password, because this project does not store one.
Deleting your account
You can do this yourself: Settings, then the Data tab, then Delete my account. Download your data first if you want to keep a copy, because deletion erases your profile, conversations, uploads and practice history and cannot be undone. Your payment records are kept as receipts with your name and email removed, so a past transfer can still be traced. The privacy policy covers what is held and why.
What we cannot help with
SSCVeers is an independent study tool with no connection to the Staff Selection Commission. Questions about your application, your admit card, an exam date, a vacancy count or a result have to go to the Commission — we have no access to any of that and would only be guessing. The disclaimer says this in full.
How to reach us
There is no phone line, no live chat and no ticket system. What exists is listed here, and nothing else:
- Email. kumarpushu74@gmail.com — for anything account-related, payments included.
- Security problems go to a separate address and have their own rules — see Security.
SSCVeers is run by one person, so there is no published response time and this page will not invent one. Messages are read.
What to put in your message
It saves a round trip if the first message has all of this:
- The email address you signed in with.
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- The exact wording of any error, or a screenshot of it. “It says something went wrong” is hard to act on.
- For a payment problem: the UPI reference number and the date.
- Your browser and whether you were on a phone or a computer.
Never send your password, your UPI PIN or a one-time code to anyone, including us. Nobody from SSCVeers will ever ask you for them, and a message that does is not from us.
