Acceptable Use Policy
This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It is short, and it is not decorative: SSCVeers has no automated content filter, so these rules and a human reading reports are the whole of the enforcement.
Use it to study
SSCVeers exists to help you prepare for an examination. Ask questions, practise, upload your own study material, generate notes, track your progress. Almost everything you would naturally do is fine. The list below is what is not.
Do not do these things
With the AI tutor
- Do not use it to produce content that is illegal, that sexualises anyone under 18, that incites violence, or that harasses or threatens a person or group.
- Do not use it to generate malware, exploit code, phishing messages, or instructions for weapons or other means of serious harm.
- Do not use it to cheat in a live examination or assessment, including relaying questions from a paper you are sitting.
- Do not attempt to extract the system instructions, or to drive the model into ignoring them. It is not a security boundary, and abusing it wastes a shared resource.
- Do not automate it. The tutor is for a person typing questions, not for a script harvesting answers.
With uploads
Uploads accept a PDF or plain-text file up to 10 MB, and the text inside is extracted and sent to the AI provider so it can answer questions about it. Because of that:
- Upload only material you have the right to use — your own notes, your own documents, or material you are licensed to use. Do not upload pirated books or paid material you are redistributing.
- Do not upload other people's personal information: identity documents, medical records, financial statements, or anything about a person who has not agreed to it.
- Do not upload confidential material belonging to an employer or institution.
- Do not upload examination material that is under embargo or that you were not permitted to remove from an examination hall.
With payments
- Do not submit a payment reference that is not yours, that has already been used, or that belongs to a payment you did not make. References can only be used once, and this is checked.
- Do not submit an edited or fabricated screenshot. A person looks at these.
- Do not submit repeatedly to force a review. There is a limit of three submissions per day, and exceeding it is treated as abuse rather than enthusiasm.
- Do not claim the introductory price more than once, or open a second account to claim it again.
With the service itself
- Do not share your account. One account is one person; sharing a login to split the cost of Pro is a breach.
- Do not resell, sublicense or republish SSCVeers content as your own product or coaching material.
- Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download the app or its API, and do not try to work around the usage limits on your plan.
- Do not probe, scan or attack the service or its infrastructure, or try to reach another user's data or the admin area. If you have found a weakness, the right thing to do is report it — see Security, which explains how, and asks you not to test against other people's accounts.
- Do not impersonate SSCVeers, its operator, or the Staff Selection Commission. Note that the name you enter at sign-up is what other students see on the leaderboard.
What happens if you break these rules
There is no automated detection here, and this policy does not pretend otherwise. In practice a breach comes to light because someone reports it or because it shows up while a payment is being checked. The response is proportionate:
- For something that looks accidental — an upload you should not have made, a mistaken payment reference — you will normally be asked to fix it.
- For a deliberate breach, access can be suspended or the account closed.
- For a fraudulent payment, the submission is rejected and the account can be closed. Rejecting a submission does not by itself return money — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Where something illegal has been done, we may be required to give information to the authorities.
Closing an account for a breach does not create a refund entitlement for the remainder of a paid term.
Reporting something
There is no report button inside the app. To report misuse, a leaderboard name that should not be there, or content that should not have been generated, write to kumarpushu74@gmail.com. Suspected security vulnerabilities go to kumarpushu74@gmail.com instead — see Security.
